MY EXPERIENCE

Hi, my name is Rachel. I work in the medical field in California. I'm an avid traveler and dog lover. Just recently, I've gotten into live sporting events so you can also find me in the crowd cheering on my team. I was diagnosed with relapsing MS in 2013 and started KESIMPTA in 2020.

My Diagnosis


When I was first diagnosed with RMS, I was devastated. Would I be able to walk? How would this impact my life? I like to plan things out, but with RMS I didn't know what to expect.

Looking For A Treatment


It took a few attempts to find the right choice for me. I didn't want to begin with traditional medication, so I started with an all-natural approach. But then I realized that the most important thing for me in an RMS treatment is efficacy. So I tried an injection and then a pill. Then my doctor and I decided to try KESIMPTA. I'm happy with the way it's going so far. Plus, I love that it takes less than one minute a month.*

Celebrating Small Wins


To prove to myself that I can keep doing the things that I love, I decided to participate in the MS Walk challenge. This was 50 miles in 3 days and I did it twice!

Spreading Hope


I haven't let my RMS define me. One thing I really hope for our MS community is that we can come together more and talk openly about our experience. That’s why I’m partnering with KESIMPTA to tell my story. I want people to know RMS doesn’t have to be a secret and that there is hope.
